The Episcopal Church in America is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, and traces its heritage to the beginnings of Christianity. We are descendants and partners with the Church of England and the Scottish Episcopal Church. We are part of the third largest group of Christians in the world. Our church is in the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts.
As Episcopalians:
We believe in a loving, liberating and life-giving God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, seeking and serving Christ in all persons.
We strive to love our neighbors as ourselves and respect the dignity of every human being.
We strive for justice and peace among all people.
We welcome all to the communion table.
We retain the ancient structure and tradition of the Episcopal liturgy.
We worship using the Book of Common Prayer.
We invite all lay parishioners to participate in the governance and ministry of our churches.
We invite all people, men and woman, gay or straight divorced or married to become priests, deacons or bishops.
All are welcome to find a spiritual home here at Trinity Episcopal Church.
