Happenings at Trinity!

STOP HUNGER NOW!! - meal packaging event was held in the Lower Hall on March 3, 2013  - 85 people of all ages attended our Worship Service of Service to be a Living Homily!  Together we packaged 10,250 meals to honor the Episcopal Church's commitment to the Millennium Development Goals. Trinity partnered with STOP HUNGER NOW to act out our Baptismal Covenant to "Proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ and to seek and serve Christ in all persons", loving our neighbors as ourselves. Take a look at the STOP Hunger movement's website to learn more www.stophunger.org

-On Ash Wednesday, Rev. Erin and Pastor Andrew from Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church made their way to Union Station in Worcester, to offer Prayer and Ashing to people who might not have been able to attend a daily service. Ashes on the Go is a practice that began as a mission activity for one small parish in Missouri a couple of years ago. It has been growing in popularity across the Episcopal Church over the past few years and made its first appearance in this Diocese in 2011.
