Clergy and Staff The Trinity Episcopal Church enjoys the dedicated services of clergy, staff members and volunteers who help fulfill our mission. They include:
The Staff
The Rev. Betty Long Priest
The Rev. Betty Long has been serving Trinity as Priest in Charge since August of 2007. She came to us after serving several parishes in the Diocese of Southern Virginia for 18 years. (She still misses the warmer winters of the south!) Betty was ordained to the Priesthood in 1985 and began her ministry as Assistant Priest at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Acton, Massachusetts until she moved to Virginia in 1989. Betty has a wonderful husband, Bill, who brings his gift of music to our parish. They have two children and three grandchildren.
Sue C. Barnard Parish Administrator
Sue Barnard joined the Trinity staff in January, 2002 after serving 24 years as part-time Executive Assistant at the Alliance for Education. Prior to that time, she was Coordinator of Volunteers for the Central Massachusetts Easter Seal Society and was also a licensed residential real estate broker for over 20 years. Church work was not unfamiliar however, as Sue was parish secretary for St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (both in Worcester) before starting her career in real estate. A native of New Jersey, Sue and her husband, Dave, live in Holden, travel as time allows to their lakeside retreat in Maine, and are communicants of St. Michael’s on the Heights Episcopal Church, Worcester, where they were married in 1989. Four grown children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, make up the Barnard clan.

Jeff Plante Sexton
Jeff Plante has been at Trinity since 2003. He is a member of the Worcester Fire Department and recently was awarded the rank of Lieutenant. Jeff plays the bagpipes with the Worcester Fire Brigade Pipes and Drums and is often called upon to play at funerals, parades, and other events. For a couple of years he has “piped” the Palm Sunday congregation from the parking lot to the sanctuary. Jeff lives in Worcester with his wife, Nancy.
Susan Jennings-Reposa Church School Director
Susan Jennings-Reposa is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She and her husband Leonard have three children and reside in Shrewsbury. Susan has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College. She has been teaching church school for over twenty years. Presently Susan works in Special Education in the Shrewsbury Public Schools.
